Dr Foo Yin Fah, Mr. Nagiah Ramasamy, Mr. Paul Linus Andrews and Dr Cheah You Sum visited LUMS between 28 June and 1 July, meeting academics and students from LUMS during their visit.

The main objective of the visit was to enhance the working relationship between the two schools and explore new collaborations in research and staff development activities.

At present, LUMS validates the three undergraduate degrees offered by the School of Business to ensure its academic quality and graduates will then receive two degree certificates, one from Sunway University College and another from Lancaster University. The School of Business also collaborates with LUMS in offering Master degrees in Management, Management with Law and Money, Banking and Finance.

According to Dr Foo, “The visit was an eye-opener and has helped us learn a great deal more about teaching, admissions and research standards which will help us make the transition to university status and strengthen the partnership with LUMS.”
