Sunway University College to produce Analytical Graduates with SAS

Sunway is the first institution to offer a joint certification with SAS on Information Systems degree course in Malaysia.

Sunway University College (Sunway) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SAS Institute Inc. USA (SAS) to enable Sunway the full right to run a specialization in the area of Business Intelligence and Data Mining in its B.Sc (Hons) Information System degree programme.

A Styro-free Campus

The Sunway University College Student Council recently waged a war on Styrofoam by launching their Scrap-the-Styro Campaign on campus. Student Council President, Joyce Wong said “Styrofoam is hazardous not only to the environment, but has carcinogens and is harmful to health of mankind. It is the white weapon of mass destruction (WMD). By going styro-free in its cafeteria and campus, Sunway University College is setting an example for the rest of the higher institutions to play their part in making the world a better place”.

Sunway University College (Sunway) understands how vital research skills are in the field of Psychology and an Academic Symposium, organised by the Department of Psychology of Sunway was implemented to create a learning environment for students, academicians and researchers to share their knowledge and present their study.
