International Field Trip for Australian Students

Sunway University College’s Bachelor of Business twinning program with Victoria University (VU), recently hosted a total of 20 students from Victoria University, Melbourne with their lecturer, Mr. Roberto Bergami who visited as part of a study tour. This was a requirement for a field research project, where the students were expected to understand Malaysia’s role and stand in the international business arena. The international students were also exposed to the work environment in Sunway Group; Sunway Lagoon Theme Park and Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. The study tour had an agenda that matched industrial and cultural exposure with academic knowledge for the visiting students.

Launch of 1Malaysia Entrepreneurship Week

Sunway University College’s drive and growing need to produce first-class students in the education industry was visible with their second launch of the 1Malaysia Entrepreneurship Week in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education. Implemented to create a platform of enterprising youths that are eager to exchange ideas and seek guidance, the students were exposed to a series of talks, interviews, question and answer sessions as well as practical tips.

Sunway University College to produce Analytical Graduates with SAS

Sunway is the first institution to offer a joint certification with SAS on Information Systems degree course in Malaysia.

Sunway University College (Sunway) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SAS Institute Inc. USA (SAS) to enable Sunway the full right to run a specialization in the area of Business Intelligence and Data Mining in its B.Sc (Hons) Information System degree programme.
